Days pass without word and when the unthinkable happens, she refuses to attend Jason's Memorial Service, because she will not accept that he is presumed missing or dead.
Ellen knows that Jason might still be alive - but no one believes her. What has happened to him? She doesn't believe that life is a bowl of cherries, and it's certainly not a box of chocolates!
